Human Voice Project

The purpose of the Human Voice Project is to learn from the lives, experience and wisdom of people willing to share what they have learned of the human condition on their life journeys. This program fosters the skill of respectful, attentive, and appreciative listening and inquiry. At the CCGC, this is considered essential for responsible, effective global citizenship.

The work of the CCGC is based on an awareness of the creative potential and inestimable value of a human life. We recognize that individuals contribute to the world in many unique ways and that learning about that diversity is essential to our growth and development. Storytelling and oral history play a critical role in learning from the past and preparing ourselves for the future.  The Human Voice Project encourages us to reflect on our own lives and the gifts we can share to become more active, engaged and hopeful global citizens.
